Not always, but often SMS messages are delayed causing 2FA to break due to their time limits--usually 10 min. I've started seeing 1 minute limits.

I keep trying and often 3 or 4 messages arrive at once.

Similarly, I've missed phone calls because voice-mails often arrive hours late.
