FAQs

What is Sprint USA?
Sprint derives revenue as a wireline IP network operator and as a long-distance telephony provider. Sprint is the United States’ fourth largest long-distance provider by subscribers.

Why does Sprint no longer exist?
Sprint was a storied American brand, but it is no longer. T-Mobile, which closed its $30 billion merger with the wireless carrier in April, officially retired the Sprint brand Monday.

Why is Sprint switching to T-Mobile?
Why have T-Mobile and Sprint merged? We’ve united and are combining our resources to bring customers the connectivity, service, and value they deserve. We are taking things to an entirely new level! With the arrival of the new T-Mobile, consumers and businesses win—when it’s more important than ever.

Is Sprint now AT&T?
The Sprint brand was officially amalgamated into T-Mobile on August 2, 2020. No new customers will be accepted to the Sprint network or plans going forward, and current Sprint customers can walk into almost any T-Mobile store (and vice versa) to be helped.

Sprint, although cheaper than Verison (which doesn't charge when you go offline with certain plans) has virtually no service at all and more than often will get you zero service. Please do not get this provider. It's like your paying for no service: just get the slightly more expensive provider.
