I've been banking with Citi for quite some time and not had many problems. Fees are low or non-existent; branch personnel are friendly and helpful. The Double Cash card works just as advertised, and provides a small but welcome bit of extra income every month. Interest rates are not competitive, however, so most of my CDs are elsewhere. I once attempted to open accounts for a housebound relative, and was told they couldn't be opened unless the account holder was present. That seemed odd, considering online accounts don't require you to be present.
