I couldn't make calls, so i called customer service and it was a horrible experience. the first time i called the lady hung up on me, called me back and hung up on me again. the second time was smoother but she couldnt help me with my problem and told me i would receive a call in 30 minutes. when the call came in they couldnt help me and told me that i would receive another call in 30 minutes, at this point i wanted a refund. the person says i need to be transferred again and then finally someone was able to help me and resolved my issue in 3 minutes. Why the hell did it take 3 hours to do this!? incompetent customer service personnel. i have been with tracfone for several years and i would be saying five stars, but after having to deal with customer service, its the worst.

Never buy one of these. My mother got me a HSN tracfone smartphone because she was sick of the fact I don't get her emojis or facebook or something. Now we're two weeks out, I tried transferring my phone #, they have all sorts of errors , I've spent the better part of 20 hours back and forth and their customer services just hangs up on me constantly.

I have spent over 9 hours with tracfone trying to rectify the mistakes made by the first person we talked to. my new phone was already activated and I was almost finished activating my husbands phone. I saw that someone had linked our 2 phones and wanted to continue having them separate. I called to have this happen. By the end of this call I found out that after 15 years I no longer had an account. The only proof that I even existed was my phone number still existed in the system. Then I found out that all of the my minutes from the new phone were no longer available. I was to receive 1500 minutes in all 3 categories. This was just the beginning. All the information that I had already put in my husband's phone was transferred back to his old phone. With over 9 hours on the phone I now have a phone that works but my husband's does not. Although he should have been given all those 1500 gigs of data and 1500 minutes of talk time and 1500 minutes of texting all of it was gone. And now he has no data and after all those hours on the phone they tell me that he will have to buy a new sim card to do anything further with either phone. This continues to be a nightmare.
