FAQs
What is UPS in USA?
UPS is the world’s premier package delivery company and a leading provider of global supply chain management solutions. We operate one of the largest airlines and one of the largest fleets of alternative fuel vehicles under a global UPS brand.
Can you chat with a UPS agent?
When you contact UPS, start with our Virtual Assistant for immediate answers. If you still need help, we’ll either transition you to live chat, SMS text or connect you directly to a phone representative (during normal business hours).
Is UPS cheaper than the USPS?
UPS is often more expensive than USPS due to fees and surcharges, especially when it comes to shipping smaller packages. Generally, USPS offers much better rates when shipping smaller packages of less than two pounds.
Why is UPS losing so many packages?
According to UPS, a box being too big or too small, lacking enough cushioning, poorly placed labels, and unclear delivery instructions can lead to lost packages. Reusing an old box and not removing old labels can also create problems.

UPS Customer Reviews
The corporate arm of UPS got involved and I ended up getting my package without having to pay "brokerage charges," after 4 months of back and forth. At least I got to work with someone reasonable, and I'm thankful for that. I will mention that I seem to have gotten traction in this dispute when I asked for an itemization or detailed explanation of the brokerage charges, which I'm legally entitled to, which they could not provide. This makes me think the brokerage charges are likely conjured or made up. If you find yourself in this position, you should consider demanding an itemization of the charges.
